When I am not shooting weddings or portraits, I work as a photographer and graphic designer for TEAM. I have the wonderful privilege to photograph the stories of missionaries around the world for a semi-annual magazine TEAMHorizons.
Even before I was a photojournalist for TEAM, my life took me to a lot of beautiful places. When I was 12 my family moved to Kenya, and since then I have been struggling to put down roots. We love living in Aurora, Illinois (the Chicagoland area) and are actually approaching our “family record” for being in one place the longest. But I guess this is where I get my love for adventure.
I love to bring that adventure and curiosity into my work. I always make an effort to try new things, add a little touch of the unexpected to everything that I do, so that the finished product is truly “music to your eyes, good for your soul”.
