Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing

I had this song on repeat this morning, and an idea popped into my head. There are so many lyrics of out this song that I love, but I just thought I would start with this today. So, here is another practice piece that I thought I would share! (and I love Sufjan Stevens version of this song that he recorded on his Christmas album…if you want to go check it out!)

I love this! But, I must admit I thought you were doing to sing praise in June. :) It could just be my eyes and the limited fonts I am used to. God Bless you!! Keep up the great work!!

2 Peter 1:3

I have been working on memorizing this chapter, and just thought I would experiment a bit with verse 3. I think I’m going to keep doing more scriptures. It is a fun way to remember such solid truths, and get a little practice in at the same time! Let me know what you think…leave some comments.

I love this idea Robert. It is a lot of fun and I would love to display verses like this around my house or on my bathroom mirror. It sure beats dry erase marker :)

I love this! Keep making more :-) ))

Hi! I love your graphic designs and would really love to see what the Holy Spirit leads you to do with more scripture. Would you mind if I would use some of your designs on T-shirts? I don’t like to wear name brand things…if my shirt is going to say anything, I want it to proclaim Truth. Thank you for walking in your gift and using for God’s glory! <

Christina and Kyle . Byron Colby Barn Wedding

Back in October I had the privilege of assisting Maggie Fortson at a wedding at Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake, IL. The weather was perfect, the wedding was beautiful, and the barn is such a great venue! I just thought that I would share a few of the images that I took that day. I am looking forward to being back at the barn for two more weddings in 2012!

Great post! Wonderful having you along that day to help document!

friday faces . papua

I have so many portrait shots from my travels, so I thought that I would put a few of them out on the blog for the next few weeks! These two portraits are from Merauke, Papua, Indonesia. It is hard to believe that this trip was almost three years ago. I had just landed halfway around the world when I found out that Cheyenne’s dad had passed away. I had one day in the country, and then I caught the one flight back out of Merauke heading back to the US. These two portraits were captured during those few hours that I was there. The man on the left was taking a break from his construction work on a large mosque, and the lady was simply taking a break from house work and enjoying a walk in the yard.

Gina + Jordan . Love Never Fails Giveaway Winners

I just wanted to show you some images from Gina and Jordan’s big day in Modesto, CA. I was really looking forward to this wedding since they were the winners of the first “Love Never Fails” Giveaway. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this day, celebrating their love that truly “never failed”. Even though it rained all day, many friends and family gathered around this couple and celebrated the start of their marriage. I know that many of you have read the story of Gina and Jordan, but if not, you should. Thanks for having a look at their images! I am look forward to the winners of the 2012 giveaway! (more information coming soon…)

i actually met the lady who did their engagement shots, and she has been working her way into more wedding photography. so i asked her if she wanted to bring her camera along! it worked out great! …but it would have been great to get to reconnect. hopefully it can happen somewhere, sometime soon.

It was nice to meet you, and I would TOTALLY love to reconnect! Thanks so much for allowing me to tag along with you! I had a great time and learned a few things in the process (by the way, I can’t stop using ellipses…go figure). You couldn’t have picked a better couple for your giveaway.
